Measurement instructions:
Place the horse in the square as much as possible, and measure from the center of the chest on the side of the body to the position of the horse’s buttocks, just at the tail.
If your horse’s final measurement size is always rounded up to the next size, make sure it is completely covered.
Washing instructions: Machine wash with cold water. Gentle circulation uses a mild detergent. Air dried or machine dry / not heated.
The horse turns to the outside without cover: the bed sheet and blanket material is waterproof and designed to keep your horse dry. However, if your horse does not run in a shack or shelter during prolonged rain or heavy rain, your horse may still get wet, especially in the neck and tail areas.
When using blankets or sheets, it is important to monitor the fluctuating climate and temperature, even with a waterproof, breathable blanket. The moisture wicking characteristics of breathable blankets are designed to absorb normal body heat. When the blanket is too heavy, heat and moisture cannot be sucked away quickly enough, causing your horse to sweat.
The temperature and length of the horse’s jacket will determine how much weight the blanket should be used. For this reason, most people who choose carpets have several horse costumes that offer varying degrees of warmth
